Frequent Questions
Q: Is there a weight limit?
A: There is no weight limit on Woodplay equipment. Parents playing with their children is considered normal use.
Q: What does the warranty really mean?
A: All parts and equipment are covered for five years against structural failure. Wooden components, swing hangers, swing chains, metal braces, metal rungs, hardware, super slides, alpine and hurricane slides are covered for buyers' lifetime. Labor is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty but Custom Recreation will replace at no charge any warranty parts within the first year.
Q: What is the most popular set?
A: The 5' Outback combo 2 w/ rock wall, step/chain ladder and super slide. It is a mid-size unit that offers an array of play areas and challenges.
Q: Is the wood treated?
A: No. Redwood is used in the finest outdoor equipment because, in addition to its beauty, it is naturally resistant to most insects and to rotting. To maintain appearance the wood is water-sealed at the factory and occasional treatments are suggested.
Q: Can we add on later?
A: Yes, lots and lots, which we will be glad to discuss with you.
Q: Can I install it myself?
A: Yes, you can save $300 or more if you pick up and install it yourself.
Q: How do they make it so good and sell it so cheap?
A: Just checking to see if you're paying attention. The "you get what you pay for" principle has not been repealed. At Custom Recreation we are committed to providing the best products at the best prices.
